Prince Harry Says Meghan Markle Has What It Takes to Become Diana 2.0

According to Reality Tea, Prince Harry sees Meghan Markle as the perfect candidate to take up Princess Diana’s mantle and inspire a global change.

In his opinion, his wife reflects the same warm glow and compassionate spirit that his mother is renowned for having.

Of course if we’re putting things in perspective, he did tell us that he hardly remembers much about his mother, whom he tragically lost at the age of 12.

What Prince Harry Has Publicly Said About Meghan Markle’s Diana-like Qualities

For people who knew Diana when she was alive or have heard about her legacy following her passing, you know that her “empathy” and “warmth” for the less-privileged is not often met with.

Apart from her charities and philanthropic works, she is also known for trying to instill in her children the spirit of compassion.

One of the ways she did this was by famously taking her young son Prince William to not only meet homeless people, but to live it. This has impressed upon William the honorable mission to see the end of homelessness in the UK.

However, for Prince Harry, Diana’s look-alike son and older brother, Prince William, is far from being the perfect candidate to step forward and take on her legacy.

No, according to those who know him and have been in his circle, he firmly believes that his American wife Meghan has what it takes to be the enduring light that drives his mother’s legacy.

He hasn’t kept this sentiment a secret either, as during his 2022 Netflix docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan,’ he said that Meghan reminds him of his mother in several ways. He named “confidence,” “empathy,” and “warmth” as the qualities the Duchess easily shares with the late Princess.

Per an insider, not only does Harry believe that Meghan possesses “all” the qualities of his late mother, but he’s openly aggressive to anyone who thinks otherwise.

As for Meghan’s part, the Heat source said, “Meghan’s incredibly honored that Harry has so much faith in her.” Furthermore, the former actress is said to see “[nothing] wrong with trying to follow in her late mother-in-law’s footsteps.”

So far, apart from selling expensive candles and photoshoots, we’re yet to see that drive for global change Harry promised us she has. Oh well.
