Royal Expert Calls Prince Harry’s Reaction ‘Petty’ After Judge’s Ruling

July has been one heck of a long month – for the Sussexes, at least. June ended with the security row, July kicked off with Prince Harry arriving solo in the UK.

But the first big storm happened when a judge dismissed all of Prince Harry’s claims against the publishers of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers Limited.

Shortly after the ruling was made public, Harry, however, famously chose to react to it by accusing the judge of whitewashing his verdict. Okay?

Royal Expert Believes Prince Harry Didn’t Tell the Truth In Court

Tom Bower, the author of ‘Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family,’ has shared his take on Prince Harry’s loss against the ANL.

Per the veteran royal expert, Prince Harry has caused himself huge harm by pursuing this case against the Daily Mail.

“I think that he didn’t tell the truth in court. I think that the judge rightly found against him and all the others; he was completely misled by Sherborne, his lawyer, and the Hacked Off group, who used him,” Bower opined.

“But I think far worse, he’s betrayed his family, he’s betrayed the country, he’s betrayed the institution of the monarchy, and I think that this case is entirely the man, the prince, who was much beloved in England by the English, who entertained children and was a smiling prince and the man of the people.”

Speaking on the ensuing fallout that would arise from both his loss and the damning revelations in court, Bower added, “I think this case just completely destroyed his reputation as someone who could be a trusted and loyal Brit.”

“His churlish reaction said it all. By accusing the judge, a man of impeccable standing, and, I must remind you, the King’s judge in the King’s court, of engineering a whitewash, when in fact Harry lost because he couldn’t provide any evidence.”

Well, well, well, at least Harry won’t be the only one fielding the entire cost of the damages, since he will be splitting it with his fellow high profile claimants. Though, if reports are to be believed, Harry had sought to settle before the pin dropped.
