When asked about his father King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Harry responded by saying “I have my own family. As we all do.”

Then he clarified who he considers family “So my family, and my life in California, is as it is. I’ve got other trips planned that would take me through or back to the UK, so I’ll stop and see my family as much as I can.”

By the way, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced this week that they have changed their son and daughter’s, Archie and Lilibet, names. That didn’t go over so well with royal fans, and neither did their new and improved website launch.

Royal Family News: Harry Is Clear About Who His Family Is

Of his newly named kids, Harry said “The kids are doing great. The kids are growing up like all kids do, incredibly fast. They’ve got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day, like most kids do.” Notice how he was careful not to call them by name?

When asked directly about King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Harry insisted “Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

According to Harry he “jumped on a plane” as soon as he could. Reports suggest that Harry showed up in the UK uninvited and spent anywhere from 12 to 45 minutes with Charles, with Harry allegedly not wanting to see or talk to Queen Camilla.

Harry seems to think that his father’s diagnosis may have a “reunifying effect” on his family and said “Throughout all these [Invictus] families, I see it on a day-to-day basis, the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”

To his credit, when asked about “his outlook” on the monarch’s health situation, Harry replied that that information “stays between me and him.”

Tell us royal fans, do you think Harry has finally learned to keep his mouth shut when it comes to his family’s private business?
