Prince Harry To Give Advance Notice Before Traveling To The UK

Royal Family News says that should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decide to come back to the UK anytime soon, it sure won’t be kept as a secret.

That’s because there’s a new report that says the Duke of Sussex is expected to give advance notice to the Home Office each and every time he makes a trip to the UK, regardless if it’s with his family or not. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to a new report, Harry was informed that it would be up to the Home Office to see if he will get the security arrangements that he needs each time he visits the UK.

As many royal fans probably already know, both Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been concerned about their safety ever since King Charles cut off their access to royal security.

The royal couple say that this has made it hard for them to travel to the UK, mostly because they are worried that the entire nation will learn about their each and every move while in Britain. Back in 2020, the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (known as Ravec) announced that the Sussexes would no longer get security protection.

Just last year Princess Diana’s former police protection officer Ken Wharfe said that Prince Harry was making an unwise mistake of taking legal action over his security matters because he and his family would have never been left without protection while visiting the UK.

He told the Mirror’s Pod Save the Queen podcast: “I don’t know whom he advised him to take legal action against the British Government and the Metropolitan Police. I think it was an unwise thing to do because that, in essence, raises negative publicity.”

Wharfe added: “But I think the Government and the Metropolitan Police would have seen it would have been wrong to see this man, a global icon and celebrity in his own right, step onshore in the United Kingdom without any protection whatsoever.
