It looks like he might be getting to work soon. Royal Family News suggests Prince Andrew might be forced to make his own money, should his brother King Charles cut off his allowance. And by work, we mean the Duke of York might be forced to write a book about the royal family that he would of course sell for profit. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Forced To Make Money On His End If King Charles Cuts Off His Allowance
According to The Daily Beast, one source close to the situation even put it this way, “He has done everything he has been asked to do. He settled the lawsuit, he kept a low profile, he hasn’t complained. His mother always valued his loyalty. She would be aghast at his allowance being reduced. He may have to write a memoir.”
The tipster said that if things continue to go the way they are going right now between King Charles and his little brother, Andrew might have no choice but to spill the royal beans, if you know what we mean. A book from Andrew would be just as juicy as Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare. In fact, even his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has been encouraging him to think about writing a tell-all book in the same way that Prince Harry has done.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Andrew?
The insider continued, “It’s being talked about regularly. Sarah has had real success with her books and has great publishing contacts. Harry’s book has proved that there is no shortage of appetite for stories about the royal family. Why shouldn’t Andrew tell his side of the story now his mother is gone?”
The tipster went on to say that a book written by Prince Andrew could “fetch up to several million” dollars, which should be enough for Prince Andrew to live on, should King Charles decide to cut off his allowance. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
