Prince Harry’s Big Mouth To Cause New Rift With Prince William?

Come now, fans of Prince Harry and Prince William, one and all, and let us ponder the gasping cries of the British media. Don’t you know that soon, quite soon, in fact, the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William, which was on the mend, is about to be categorically destroyed? That’s because, of course, there are three new books set to be published near the end of 2020 and all of them appear to cast Prince William in a bad light.

According to reports, Prince William was left aghast when he learned that his younger brother, the Duke of Sussex, had decided to air all his dirty laundry in public. Of course, fans of the British royal family might agree with Prince William that allowing everyone in on what some might consider a private matter could be seen as a bit backstabbing in nature. The real question here is whether that is what Prince Harry intended.

Reportedly, every single one of the new biographies of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will go over in excruciating detail the fact that Prince William was concerned with how fast Harry was moving in his courtship of the American actress. There are those who will no doubt claim that any and all concern for Harry on Prince William’s account was actually latent racism.

This is because, of course, Meghan Markle’s heritage is one of mixed race. Indeed, a minority of Meghan Markle fans took to Twitter and behaved in an atrocious fashion, claiming that the rift between Harry and the rest of his family was precisely due to the fact that they didn’t appreciate the idea of “diversity” within their ranks. This is all entirely stuff and nonsense however, given the fact that Prince William and Prince Harry have been enjoying regular Zoom calls with one another for some time now. It’s clear that both Prince William and Prince Harry have decided to bury the hatchet (if indeed there was ever one, to begin with).

The fact is, these books along with all of the panting, slobbering headlines in the U.K., maybe more responsible for infighting between William and Harry than anything else. With all of the constant claims that Harry ditched the entire U.K. and might as well be a traitor, combined with the idea that William will soon be king of all Great Britain (whatever happened to Prince Charles?) and Harry has left him without support … well, it’s all a bit too much.

Prince Harry might talk a lot and some might consider him to be frolicsome and flighty, but really how much “support” does Prince William need anyway? It’s not as if being King of England these days has any real political import. It’s not as if Prince William will ever be dictating the path down which the United Kingdom will head in terms of policy. It’s not as if Prince William will ever have the authority to declare war or demand tribute.

Prince William is destined to be a figurehead … nothing more. Prince William will be a man paid by the British taxpayer simply for who he is and not through any merit of his own. Prince William will own vast estates worth millions and millions of British pounds and he will run in high society with Kate Middleton at his side. Prince William will eat at the finest banquets and give speeches at charitable events.

Yet Prince William needs Harry’s “support?” No, the fact of the matter is that Britain’s tabloids are full of horse hockey. Let Prince Harry say what he wishes. If the British family has gotten this far and yet remains able to enjoy an incredible amount of unearned privilege, and all without the public rising up against them all the French Revolution, well then … Prince William has nothing to fear from Harry’s tendencies to tell all.
