Harry and Meghan decided on buying a home on neutral ground just so Meghan wouldn’t have to step foot on UK soil if she doesn’t have to. And seeing how Portugal is so close to the UK, Prince Harry can go back home at any given time without leaving his family far behind.
One source close to the situation says that Harry and Meghan are dealing with the same relationship issues that a lot of other couples have, which also includes the seven year itch.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been together for so long that they are just trying to figure out how to navigate their lives without having to call for a separation. After all, they’ve been together for long enough.

Also, there was a report last year saying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are clashing over their family life.
That’s because Prince Harry wants his two children, Archie and Lilibet, to visit the UK so they can bond with their grandfather, King Charles, and the rest of the royal family, including their cousins.
If all of that weren’t enough, there are also sources that say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are basically living separate lives right now and have even laid out a blueprint in what might happen next, should they decide to pull the plug on their marriage.
The insider put it this way, “They have been drifting apart for a while, with Harry’s desire to return to the UK where his old drinking buddies are and his hope to return to the very comfortable fold of the Royal Family putting a real strain on their marriage.”
