Prince Harry’s Royal Impact Fades – Endless Drama Takes Its Toll

King Charles and Queen Camilla’s trip to America drew a lot of media attention. Apart from the widely covered engagements, their visit also included a grand reception that saw Charles and Camilla grandly welcomed by the American government.

This can be seen as a reciprocity of friendship, since President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were also given a grand warm welcome during their visit to the UK last year.

But the stark absence of one Prince Harry from any of the proceedings has given rise to a number of questions. Especially since this is coming after he rejected the “not a working royal” label during his surprise Ukraine visit just last month.

Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry’s Big Gestures Lead To Messy Fallouts

Prince Harry has often talked about his desire to reconcile with his family several times, but things are obviously not going the way he plans.

For one thing, even though he tried to tell the world that he’s basically still a part of the Royal Family, since he’s doing something he was born to do, it still feels like he’s on the outside looking in.

If there’s any doubt as to his present position within the Monarchy, his absence at the state dinner attended by some of his mates at King Charles and President Trump’s behest erases that.

Speaking on why this is, PR and media expert, Chad Teixeira, told the Daily Express that his gestures, while dramatic, don’t often land well.

“The visit in itself is strong; no one’s questioning that. But the timing just muddies it,” he said, adding, “You’ve got a monarchy trying to show unity on the world stage, and Harry pulls it straight back to family drama. It’s the same pattern, big gesture, messy fallout.”

Harry’s latest big gesture occurred in Ukraine, where he told ITV in an interview that “I am here working doing the things that I was born to do. And I enjoy doing it.”

Previously in Australia, he had announced that he and his wife Meghan are “royals on tour,” hinting that life would be easier for everyone if the media and fans got a grasp of that.

However, with the clear borders put up by the Royal Family to ward them off still intact, they’ve decided to do a PEOPLE interview to reiterate their desire to build a life outside of the Royal Family.
