Prince William and Kate Middleton are back in London and hard at work

Prince William and Kate Middleton are back in London and hard at workPrince William and Kate Middleton don’t grab the headlines as much as his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do, so an update on their relatively normal, low-key, and non-controversial lives is in order; lest one think all of the royals reflect the standards of conduct as Just Harry and Meghan Markle Thee Duchess.

Parents the world over will relate to William and Kate as news emerged that last week they put down their homeschooling caps.

Last week was incredibly eventful for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Up to that time the pair had pitched in as had other parents around the globe to take over the schooling needs of their children. But last week, as coronavirus protocols were lifted, they helped to reenter their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, back to their Thomas’s Battersea school.

The pair were home-schooled since March when the coronavirus pandemic took off and the world was effectively put on a lockdown.

William and Kate’s eldest children, George and Charlotte, have gone back to school

We’re happy to report that George is now in Year 3, and Charlotte is in Year 1. That leaves their youngest child, Prince Louis, who is still too young for nursery school.

After getting their kids readjusted to school, the royal pair spent Friday getting back to their royal duties.

Kate visited with Jason Knauf, who is Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Jason joined Kensington Palace in 2015 as the couple’s press secretary and was then promoted to executive officer of the couple’s foundation.

Prince William is President of the FA, and he had two telephone meetings, one with FA CEO Mark Bullingham and another with professional footballer Daniel Alves.

And so it seems that the family is back to their regular routine after spending several months, including the summer, in isolation at their Sandringham home.

William especially had been outspoken about how he was taking to homeschooling. The Prince delighted many with his candid assessment of his skills as a teacher and many could relate to the frustration he felt at suddenly being thrust into a role he was unprepared for.

Last week William said during an engagement in Belfast to mark Emergency Services Day, “I think every parent is breathing a sigh of relief that school has started again.”

“Five months – it’s been wonderful, but it’s been a long five months.”

This couple shows that they are more than capable of handling anything that is thrown at them, they show compassion to all the hospital, first responders and all the parents that have been tasked to home schooling their children, what a welcoming sight they are and such a credit to The Queen and family, not like two other miserable swines that deserted the family and British people
