So how else are they supposed to have their family dinners? There’s a new report that says Prince William and Kate Middleton do not allow their three children at the dining room table.

But apparently, there’s a good reason for their strict dining table etiquette. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to Royal chef Darren McGrady, he says that it took a very long time for the Prince and Princess of Wales to allow their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to sit at the dining room table with them for dinner time.

That’s because they first wanted to make sure that their behavior was in check before making their big move from the kids’ table to the adults’ table. It’s a privilege that’s not given to everyone very easily.

McGrady put it this way in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, “The children always ate in the nursery until they were old enough to conduct themselves properly at the dining table.”

Royal Family News: There’s No Shouting At The Dining Room Table

Apparently, William and Kate are very strict about the way they are raising their children. However, if there is one thing that they will never do with their kids, it’s lose their cool in front of them.

One insider put it this way, “Shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal.” The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences outlined and they never shout at them.“

Now, whether or not that is true, no one really knows. So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the matter. With that said, here’s hoping that everyone is now sitting together, right?
