That’s because they want to leave King Charles alone as he continues to deal with his wayward younger brother, Prince Andrew.

As many royal fans are aware of by now, the King of England was hoping that Prince Andrew would have moved out from the Royal Lodge right now so he could give it to the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are in need of the extra space because of their three small children.

But the Duke of York has refused to move out as he doesn’t want to downgrade to Frogmore Cottage, which used to belong to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

However, it seems like Prince William and Kate Middleton have now taken a different approach to the matter.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “William is not interested in the property, at least not at the moment when all his focus is on Kate’s health as she battles her cancer diagnosis.”

Prince Andrew Has Been Terribly Stubborn About The Royal Lodge

“William has also ruefully conceded that occupying yet another royal mansion – he already has a substantial Kensington Palace apartment and Anmer Hall near Sandringham in Norfolk – is not a good look for a prince who campaigns against homelessness.”

It’s also being reported that King Charles is trying to push Prince Andrew out the door so he can give The Royal Lodge to his other brother, Prince Edward, instead.

But whether or not King Charles will manage to evict the Duke of York remains to be seen, considering how terribly stubborn he has been about the entire matter. Watch this space.
