British Royal News suggests that showing public display of affection might be against the Queen’s rules, but it looks like things are slowly but surely changing within the monarchy. As a matter of fact, a lot of royal observers couldn’t help but notice that Prince William and Kate Middleton have been showing more PDA than usual. Could it be that they have been secretly taking notes from another PDA-happy couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? Maybe. Here’s what you need to know.

Now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer considered working members of the British royal family, the spotlight has solely been on Prince William and Kate Middleton. Of course, that might be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at things. Either way, everyone is now paying attention to all of the little things that William and Kate are doing and saying, along with the smallest details about their marriage.

With that said, new reports indicate that there’s been a chance that William and Kate have decided to loosen up and are showing more displays of affection. In fact, during a recent royal engagement Prince William was overheard telling his wife that she looks “lovely,” while also trying to put his arms on her back, which is something he certainly didn’t do in the past. It’s also been noted that Kate Middleton has been doing the same, much to the surprise of royal observers everywhere. It wasn’t too long ago that Kate shrugged off her husband’s advances while the two of them were taping a televised Christmas special.
