It’s so sad learning about the things happening in a small Canadian town at this time of the year, and as the rest of the world sends their prayers to the Canadian people, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to send in their well meaning wishes as well.
In their message, they called the stabbing spree a “heartbreaking” crime and sent their heartfelt prayers to the victims.
Prince William Pens Personal Message To the Victims Of A Stabbing Crime In Canada
Ten people have died in Canada following the horrifying string of incidents that were reportedly perpetrated by two brothers. As of recent, the reason for the outrage and mass murdering is unknown.
On behalf of himself and his wife Kate, Prince William shared concerns about the gruesome murders.
The message, signed with W, was shared on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Twitter account. He called the killings a “truly heartbreaking” occurrence.
He said in a personal tweet: “The attacks at James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon, Saskatchewan are truly heart-breaking. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of these horrific acts and all those that have lost loved ones.” He added: “Catherine and I send our best wishes to the people of Canada.”
The killings began on Sunday when two brothers went on a knife rampage that left ten dead and eighteen injured in the province of Saskatchewan.
Who Are the People Behind The Horrible Knife Stabbings In Canada
Even though the motive behind the killings remains unknown, the identities of the mass murderers have been disclosed.
Damien Sanderson, one of the two brothers involved in the heartbreaking murders, was found dead on Monday in the remote indigenous community of James Smith Cree Nation where many of the victims lived.
Like the North American country does for the Queen, Canada is dear to the Cambridges.
