Prince William Confronted Over Homelessness Quagmire In New Documentary

British royal family news reveals that Part One of William, Prince of Wales’ documentary about homelessness has debuted to plaudits, with the future king not shying away from controversy.

In his new project, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, Prince William is seen being confronted by Lord John Bird, the founder of the Big Issue.

Lord Bird challenged William to address the “failed thinking” around the immense issue of homelessness, proclaiming that he expected “no “b******t” in their discussions, urging the prince to spearhead a new approach through his Homewards programme – an ambitious initiative aiming to end homelessness within five years.”

According to the Independent, during the ITV series the man took issue with the splintered “efforts of local authorities, charities, and government departments over the past three decades.”

William listened respectfully to Lord Bird, then said that he understands “that it’s a team environment, please do feel free to pile in when you need to.”

Prince William has said that his goal of ending homelessness is influenced in large part by childhood experiences provided by his late mother, Diana. On the debut show he described a visit to a homeless charity with his mother, and the second part of the documentary airs tonight.

Royal Family News – Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Awards

In other news, Prince William is preparing to visit Cape Town next week but Princess Catherine will not be with him when he hands out the fourth installment of his Earthshot Prize Awards.

Kate was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and this summer successfully completed a round of preventative chemotherapy.

Understandably, the princess has scaled back her public commitments and is prioritizing her health and family for the foreseeable future. Princess Catherine will stay at home in Windsor with the couple’s three children while William is in South Africa.

Individuals are encouraged to discover innovative, green solutions to current environmental issues and million dollar prizes are awarded to individuals who propose promising solutions for the world’s climate problems.
