Prince William Incensed That Harry And Meghan Are Working With The Company That Airs The Crown?

 Prince William Ever since Megxit dropped, the royal family has seemingly been at odds, at each other’s throats or simply non-communicative, depending on who you ask, or which royal commentator is commentating o that particular day.

Now comes word that The Firm is none too happy with the couple’s latest move, signing a mega-million dollar deal with Netflix to produce stuff. Why in the world would the fam be unhappy?

After all, this deal represents the first real job they’ve had since fleeing the country with millions of dollars worth of unpaid debt.

Is Prince William Steamed About Harry And Meghan’s Netflix Deal?

Yet, new reports indicate that Harry’s newest wheeling and dealing has definitely raised the emotional barometer between him and Prince William.

According to The Sun, some senior royals are against his new deal in part because it is the streaming service that puts out The Crown.

An insider told the publication, “William and other senior royals are incredibly uncomfortable about this drama and livid Harry is now in partnership with the company that’s airing it.”

We already know that the royal family isn’t exactly hardcore fans of the series that airs their dirty laundry. To add more hurt to injury the latest season, which debuts on November 15, will take a look at Princess Diana’s battle with bulimia.

Not Everyone Is Thrilled About Harry’s New Production Deal

Thus, it makes sense that the members of Harry’s family would be somewhat taken aback by his willingness to do business with the company that has a tainted record when it comes to the royals—in their eyes anyway.
It just seems that Harry’s announcements have been nothing but angst for Her Majesty. Earlier this year Harry announced that he was leaving the country and earlier this month he announced the signing of a multiyear deal with Netflix.

In a 1995 interview with BBC Diana talked about her struggles with bulimia saying, “It was a symptom of what was going on in my marriage. I was crying out for help, but giving the wrong signals, and people were using my bulimia as a coat on a hanger: They decided that was the problem—Diana was unstable.”

According to Left Bank Pictures, the production company for The Crown, they took extra care to film the eating disorder scenes saying that, “Producers worked closely with the eating disorder charity, Beat, to ensure that their portrayal of Princess Diana’s bulimia in season four was both accurate to the disorder and sensitively handled.”

Still, the insider insists that the royal family, “wouldn’t expect one of their own to take the money made by the profits of shows like this.”
