Royal Family News – Kate And William Are Ready To Celebrate Summer

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are now on break from school while Kate continues to receive preventative cancer therapy.

We know that King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals will enjoy some time away in Scotland this summer. Will Catherine be able to make the trip?

Royal Family News – Will Catherine Summer In Scotland?

Royal pundit Jennie Bond told OK!: “It’s been one heck of a year for the Royal Family so far and nothing would please the King more than to have his close family gathered together in the peace of Balmoral for a time to take stock together, mark the passing of an incredibly difficult few months and look to the future.”

Bond notes that due to Catherine’s cancer treatment, it is not certain that she will join the rest of the royals at Balmoral. Luckily there is another fun option for summer vacation for the Wales family.

Where Will The Wales Family Vacation?

According to Bond, the family of five may decide to stick close to home and enjoy an extended break at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk. The stately, red brick home affords them plenty of privacy and they have the option of beach trips to Holkham.

Scotland holds special significance for William and Kate. This is where they met in 2001, while students at University of St. Andrews.

And, sadly, William learned of his mother Diana’s death while at Balmoral in 1997, the same location that Queen Elizabeth passed in 2022.

Prince William once commented on his strong ties to the country, saying “In short, Scotland is the source of some of my happiest memories. But also, my saddest.”
