Prince William Wants Everyone To Move On From Prince Charles And Camilla Parker Bowles’ Scandalous Past

Royal expert and journalist Camilla Tominey, who is the Associated Editor of the UK’s Telegraph, says that it’s more than apparent that whatever rift that was between Prince William and his father Prince Charles is long gone. Royal fans noticed the love and warmth between father and son in new candid photos that were taken by Kate Middleton and posted on the official Kensington Royal Instagram page during Father’s Day weekend.

Tominey explains, “The warmth which so obviously zings between father and son seems to signify a laying to rest of the ghosts of William’s childhood and any soreness he has felt towards his father after witnessing the traumatic fallout out of his parents’ separation as a 10-year-old boy.”

British Royal News: Prince William’s Relationship With Camilla

Another royal expert, Katie Nicoll, says that Prince William also seems to have worked past whatever issues he may have had with his father stemming from his hurtful affair with Camilla Parker Bowles while the future King of England was still married to Princess Diana. In fact, everyone seems to be in a great place right now, or at least in a much better place than they were many years ago. This, of course, includes Prince William’s relationship with his mother-in-law, Camilla.

“It’s no secret that Charles and his son have had ups and downs in the past, but the relationship today is very solid and strong,” said a palace insider. “It is built on love, affection, and respect. They are on the same wavelength these days and when Charles talks about William it is with great pride.”
