ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Barthomolew) tries to get the charges dropped against his wife. He tells Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) that he will forgive her if she agrees to be his wife again. Meanwhile, everyone is stunned that Geoff is pulling all the stops to free Yasmeen. Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is also baffled as Yasmeen makes a big decision.

According to Digital Spy, Geoff will make all kinds of promises and tell some huge lies in order to get Yasmeen back. One of them is him swearing that he will get professional help. But we all know that’s not going to happen. She ends up hanging up the phone before making a decision, but fans are not going to like where this is headed.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that everyone, including Tim Metcalfe (Jim Duttine), will be wondering why Geoff is trying to get the charges dropped. Then, Alya is horrified to hear her grandmother say that she believes Geoff is sorry about everything.

As we recently heard Yasmeen admit, she knows the situation was bad with Geoff. But she also still loves him and believes that he loves her. It seems that Yasmeen might actually consider going back to Geoff if he can get the charges against her dropped.

Will This Story Ever End?

Often, when a woman returns to an abuser, the situation seems better for a short time. But they soon return to their old ways. Sometimes, it even gets worse. We know that the writers have no intention of killing Yasmeen and she does get justice in the end. We also can confirm that Geoff will not be redeemed or justified in any way, shape, or form. So, this story will end, we just don’t know when or how.
