Prince William Wants To Be The ‘Prince Of Hugs’ Now

It looks like someone is taking a page out of his mother’s handbook. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William is doing whatever he can to rehabilitate his image after both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made him look like the villain of the royal family.

Well, that might be one of the reasons why the Prince of Wales wants to be known as the “prince of hugs” as he wants to show everyone a different side of him that no one has seen before. Here’s what you need to know.

Just this past week, Prince William attended a Christmas Party at The Passage Charity. As their royal patron, the Prince of Wales joined to festivities and he was also there to prepare and serve food and meet with the people who were there.

He also made sure to give out hugs and show everyone that he was truly being supportive. In other words, William really does want to be seen as the new “prince of hugs” in the royal family as  that’s his new love language.

Unfortunately for Prince William though, some people aren’t buying what he’s selling. Many royal fans and critics took to social media to weigh in on the matter with, “It is funny that the hugger Prince is still not touching his wife more than a few seconds.

But, sure, hug the peasants so they will let you be a publicly funded billionaire,” along with, “Can William be any more embarrassing. He also looks uncomfortable going in for hugging and those he hugs don’t look thrilled.”

Royal Family News  -Is Prince William Being Sincere With His Hugs?

There was this comment as well: “I am not a fan of hugging, unless you are my close family/friend. No need for anybody in the BRF to be hugging the public. Handshake, use both hands if you’re that happy, big smile, move on. It’s all PR. You don’t see Albert of Monaco hugging people at his appearances.”

So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the criticism. Watch this space.
