Prince William WON’T Cut Ties With The Church Of England

Since King Charles assumed the throne, royal fans have suspected that there seems to be tension between him and son Prince William.

This divide continues to be more prominent as more days trample on, despite sources claiming Princess Kate is doing her best to maintain the peace.

However, the latest claims that William will not take the title of Supreme Governor of the Church of England when he becomes King has been immediately dismissed.

Prince William Lacks “Unshakeable” Bond With The Church Of England, Royal Expert Claims

This week, the Prince of Wales made headlines when an outrageous article claimed that he might not take the centuries-old title of Supreme Governor of the Church of England when he succeeds his father on the throne.

In his book, Robert Hardman claimed the heir lacked that “unshakeable” devotion to the Anglican church, which is one of the basis of the Royal Family.

Hardman wrote in Charles III: New King, New Court. The Inside Story: “In royal circles, it is no secret that he does not share the King’s sense of the spiritual, let alone the late Queen’s unshakeable devotion to the Anglican church.”

A senior Palace source reportedly claimed, “His father is very spiritual and happy to talk about faith but the Prince is not. He doesn’t go to church every Sunday, but then nor do the large majority of the country.“

The source continued: “He might go at Christmas and Easter but that’s it. He very much respects the institutions but he is not instinctively comfortable in a faith environment.”

Due to these claims, the late Queen Elizabeth’s former chaplain, Dr Gavin Ashenden, advised William to abdicate the throne when he becomes King if he does not wish to be the head of the church of England.

He went on to accuse the Prince of not understanding the structure of the monarchy and its strong links to Christianity.

Dr Ashenden told GB News: “William doesn’t show any signs of being alive to the vibrancy of Christian faith.”

He added: “And in that sense, he is very representative of his generation, but I don’t think he understands the monarchy because although lots of people have talked about disestablishing the Church of England and changing our constitutional arrangements, they’re immensely complex and they go back through 500 years of legislation…it would take an army of lawyers ten years to do it.”

Following this ruckus, Palace sources confirmed that there had never been any conversations where William admitted to wanting to leave the church.
