Princess Anne Has Been Hospitalized Following A Head Injury With A Horse

There’s bad news coming out of Buckingham Palace this weekend. A new report says that King Charles’ sister, Princess Anne, has been hospitalized following a head injury with a horse. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to the BBC, Princess Anne has been admitted to a nearby hospital after she sustained an injury on her estate in Gloucestershire, which is nearby Buckingham Palace.

The palace released a statement that said Princess Anne has “sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident.”

The statement continued, “She remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation. She is expected to make a full and swift recovery, says the palace.”

So far the palace has not made any additional comments about Princess Anne’s condition or when she is expected to make a full recovery.

But the news is certainly concerning for royal fans as this hasn’t been the best year on record health wise for the royals.

Both King Charles and Kate Middleton are also dealing with their cancer battles. However, the type of cancer that they have has not been disclosed.

It goes without saying that royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “The bad luck with this family and all their health problems and now Anne takes an injury.They’re dropping like flies.”

Another critic wrote, “They never wear helmets when they ride and that is actually incredibly dangerous not to do. They can make a big difference, and I’ve had friends get pretty serious concussions from what seemed to be minor falls.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Oh wow, an incident is dangerous for anyone above 60’s, let alone an incident involving a HORSE. I hope she is gonna be ok, not trusting the palace talking points or statement.”
