Even though the King is undergoing treatment for cancer – a treatment said to reportedly leave him feeling very tired at best – and the Princess of Wales is recovering from abdominal surgery, there’s still no plans to promote some royals to working status.
If such plans do come in to play, since William has rejected Harry’s offer to return temporarily, no one knows what roles can be carved out for the York sisters. But already, they know what roles they’d rather have.
Princess Beatrice – Vows To End the Stigma Surrounding Dyslexia
Princess Beatrice has done a lot of things that’s put her in the spotlight despite not being a working royal; remember the time she was tied to 33 other people in a race to set a record, which they accomplished, by the way.
At the time, the royal took part in the London Marathon to support her mom Sarah Ferguson’s charity, Children in Crisis.
But these days, if she should go on another record-breaking race, it would be for a cause that’s closer to home: bringing the proper care and support for dyslexic children.
Just recently, she hosted a tea party at St James’s Palace, where she welcomed the group Arkell Dyslexia.
Even before joining the group as a patron, the Princess, 35, has been open about benefitting from their services.
Following the tea party at St. James, the group shared on X: “Huge thanks to our patron HRH Princess Beatrice who hosted a special tea party for us at St James’s Palace last week.
Our guests were thrilled to meet the princess who spoke passionately about her own experience of dyslexia. An inspiring afternoon for all.”
With Andrew, Harry, and Meghan gone from the list of working royals, royal fans have long since eyed the York sisters, most especially Beatrice, to fill the shoes of those who have stepped down as senior working royals.
Even though she’s never been a working royal, she has fronted and done work for some charities over the years.
