This might be a classic case of like mother, like daughter. There’s a new report that says little Princess Charlotte is definitely taking after her mother Kat Middleton, but in a good way, of course.

As many royal fans know by now, the Princess of Wales is someone who isn’t afraid to put on her favorite pair of trainers and race with the best of them in front of the cameras.

And when she’s not kicking a soccer ball, then she’s throwing a rugby ball or showing off her lacrosse skills. It seems like Princess Charlotte has definitely taken after her mother as she loves sports just as much as her mom does.

According to People, one source close to the situation put it this way, “Apparently Charlotte is very much in her mold — very competitive as well,” while also adding that Charlotte loved watching the Commonwealth Games with her parents last summer. The insider said, “She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics, and while they’re trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport she answered very easily and said, ‘It’s gymnastics that I like.’”

But then again Kate Middleton herself is definitely a very good role model for her kids as a day probably doesn’t go by that she doesn’t play outside with them. The tipster also said, “She regularly plays rugby in the back garden with the children — she plays all sports with them.”

Some royal fans have commented on the matter with, “Charlotte should be able to do whatever she wants outside of her mother’s shadow, no comparisons necessary,” along with, “I really hope all of those kids find their own way in life. Kids need to find their own interests as they grow.”
