British royal family news divulges that weeks ago Princess Kate shared with the world her cancer diagnosis and current preventative chemotherapy treatment.
It now appears that she is ready to make a soft launch back into the public eye. This weekend Kate and Prince William sent their thoughts and condolences to Australia after a deadly knife attack in Sydney. This is Kate’s first public statement since she revealed she has cancer.
The couple posted their sentiments on their official X account: “We are shocked and saddened by the terrible events in Sydney earlier today. Our thoughts are with all those affected, including the loved ones of those lost and the heroic emergency responders who risked their own lives to save others.”
Royal Family News – Kate’s Reentry Into Public Life
The Princess of Wales revealed her cancer news via a prerecorded video message in which she asked for “some time, space and privacy.”
Kate and William did not attend Easter services with the other royals, instead keeping a low profile with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Just days ago Prince William enjoyed a pub visit with his mother-in-law Carole Middleton and later issued a public statement about the retirement of England Lioness Rachel Daly.
Also this month William took Prince George to an Aston Villa where they appeared to enjoy themselves as they for their team.
Royal Family News – William And Kate Returning To Royal Duties
It’s inevitable that the couple return to a busy schedule representing the monarchy, with King Charles also out of the spotlight as he battles cancer.
It is thought that Kate has been keeping up to date on her projects as she recuperates at home.
The Telegraph reported that Kate worked on her ambitious Early Years initiative during the first few months of the year.
The Princess’s Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood funded a months long trial of a baby observation tool and Kate was said to have read this research on improving the lives of babies.
The data will be used to recognize signs of social and emotional development in young children and the results were published in March.
