By now, everyone can agree that this past year has been a tough one for the British royal family and for many different reasons, too.

Not only have they been dealing with the ongoing issues they’ve had with Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but both King Charles and Kate Middleton were also diagnosed with cancer.

With everything that has been going on, Queen Camilla is the one person who has managed to be the supportive pillar that everyone has needed this year. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had her moments of weakness, either.

One source close to the situation says that for Queen Camilla, King Charles is “the love of her life, her partner, her husband of almost 20 years. Of course she was scared.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For King Charles And Queen Camilla?

“Frankly it’s a lonely enough job when there’s two of you. So you can imagine what it’s like when there’s just one of you out on the road. But she was determined to do her bit for his sake, to pick up the elements of the programme she was able to, while balancing her most significant role as spouse, support and chief cheerleader for him.”

But it’s Queen Camilla who knows how to keep his spirits up. The insider added, “She makes him laugh like no one else.”

Here’s hoping they continue laughing well into 2025.
