Queen Camilla Likes ‘Pinocchio Princess’ Nickname For Meghan Markle

Queen Camilla appreciates a clever use of words. And so when she heard a certain TV host refer to Meghan Markle as the Pinocchio Princess and “whiny fork-tongued actress,” Camilla expressed her appreciation.

Queen Camilla Likes Pinocchio Princess Shade

Because the new book Endgame claims that Camilla expressed appreciation to the TV host who referred to the Duchess of Sussex as the Pinocchio Princess. And the Queen’s appreciation didn’t end there, according to Us.

Endgame author Omid Scobie describes Queen Camilla as having “quietly thanked” Piers Morgan for referring to Meghan Markle as the Pinocchio Princess.

But Scobie also describes exactly how Morgan threw shade at Meghan since she became linked to Prince Harry.

For instance, after the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she battled suicidal thoughts, Morgan used his position on Good Morning Britain to slam her. And Piers claimed that he “wouldn’t believe [Meghan] if she read me a weather report.”

However, the network fielded complains from Meghan herself as well as viewers. And so Morgan resigned from Good Morning Britain as pressure grew. But Piers called Meghan a Princess Pinocchio in a column. 

And Morgan wrote, “I was reliably informed recently that Meghan Markle wrote directly to my ITV boss Dame Carolyn McCall the night before I was forced out, demanding my head on a plate. What has the world come to when a whiny fork-tongued actress can dictate who presents a morning television news program.”

And since then, Morgan often refers to Meghan as Princess Pinocchio on Twitter. But Piers did receive thanks, revealed Scobie. And the 76-year-old Queen sent Morgan a message expressing appreciation for what she viewed as his defense of the royal family.

Prince Harry Defends Meghan Markle

However, don’t wait for Queen Camilla to talk about the commentary in public. And Scobie quotes a palace aid as revealing that Camilla won’t comment in public. But the royal insider also revealed that Camilla felt “gratitude that somebody was standing up” to Meghan’s claims.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry rushed to support and defend his wife. And in his memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex shared how he reacted to Meghan’s suicidal confession. “I begged her not to talk like that. I promised her we’d get through it, we’d find a way. In the meantime, we’d find her the help she needed,” revealed the devoted royal hubby. And he added, “I asked her to be strong, hang on.”

However, Meghan and Harry have clashed with the royal family since exiting their senior duties in 2020. For example, the Duke of Sussex has battled with his father King Charles, 75, for years. And the father and son rarely communicate.
