Queen Elizabeth Had Power to Ban This Documentary Showing Tender Family Moments

Queen Elizabeth

It comes as no surprise to some that the British monarchy has a lot of power. A new report has revealed that Queen Elizabeth has power when it comes to what’s aired on television. The Queen has banned a documentary that showed her having a tender moment with Prince Edward. This is just the latest in the latest of reports plaguing the Royal Family lately.

The Queen was seen giving ice cream to a young Prince Edward using money from her own purse, as previously reported via The Sun. This quashed the belief that she never carried her own money. The documentary was released in 1969 and shows the Royal Family growing up in the public eye and the Queen’s early years as ruler of the monarchy. When the documentary first aired on BBC and ITV, it attracted 45 million viewers. But that film has been banned from 1972 according to the Queen’s orders.

According to Express, the 110-minute documentary “lets the magic out” about the Royal Family and removes the mystique. Other emotional scenes include the Queen interacting with her son Prince Charles. It also shows moments between Prince Philip and daughter Princess Anne during a family barbeque at their Scottish home in Balmoral. These scenes appear to be intimate family moments that people rarely seen. At the time of the film’s debut, David Attenborough revealed that he was not a fan of the film.

He believed that it was “killing the monarchy” since it showed them looking like normal people. The Queen didn’t want to be seen “in the role of a mother and a wife.” She likes it when people see her as “head of the state.” This report comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry was a mischievous young boy who enjoyed playing “hide and seek at home.” Harry was like most kids his age except for the fact that he happened to live at Kensington Palace.

The 35-year-old revealed that he used to hide from his nannies in kitchen cupboards with his brother Prince William. Harry’s playful behavior as a kid was revealed by Prince Charles’ and Princess Diana’s former chef who shared her experience about working for the Royal Family. Carolyn Robb sat down for an exclusive interview with Yahoo UK about living with the Royal Family in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
She also revealed that Prince Charles and Princess Diana wanted to keep their home life as normal as possible for the sake of their sons. After the couple ended their marriage, Robb continued to work for Prince Charles. The former chef has also worked for A-list celebrities, including Barbara Streisand, Elton John, Emma Thompson, and the Dalai Lama.
