Queen Elizabeth Health News: Royal Family Alarmed Again – Here’s Why!

Queen ElizabethQueen Elizabeth recently experienced a health scare that resulted in an unusual hospital stay. After spending a night in a London hospital, Her Majesty returned to Windsor Castle amid speculation about her well-being.

The Palace has revealed that the Queen’s doctors recommended she rest for two weeks in the wake of her hospital stay. As a result, Prince Charles and Prince William have shared some of her royal duties. But now, at 95, Queen Elizabeth seems determined to return to her usual busy schedule. Find out what royal family insiders have just revealed below!

Queen Elizabeth Ignores Doctor’s Orders?

Since leaving the hospital, Queen Elizabeth has faced an order from her doctors to limit her royal duties to “light, desk-based activities,” per the Express. That means Her Majesty should not participate in public appearances that require hours of standing.

For instance, Queen Elizabeth recently had to cancel her planned appearance at the COP26 summit in Glasgow. In addition, Her Majesty is expected to skip the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday, November 13. However, despite her doctors’ recommendations, the Queen reportedly plans to appear at the National Service of Remembrance the following day.

And according to a royal family expert, Richard Kay, Her Majesty’s reluctance to ease up on such public appearances has alarmed her family. At 95, Queen Elizabeth “can’t do or put in the kind of hours that she has been doing for so many years,” pointed out Kay. “The irony is, since the death of Prince Philip, Her Majesty has wanted to do even more than she was doing before.”

How Prince Philip’s Death Has Changed Queen Elizabeth

For years, Queen Elizabeth felt “very worried about her husband, that was a constant concern at the back of her mind,” explained the royal family expert. But since his passing, Her Majesty has adjusted and now wants to “do things she may not have done before.”

Unfortunately, Her Majesty’s desire to experiment with new activities contradicts her doctors’ recommendations. As a result, the royal family and Queen Elizabeth’s staff fear for her well-being. And they feel “alarmed that she has been doing too much,” added Kay.

For instance, the Palace stated that Queen Elizabeth needs and must take two full weeks of rest after her hospital visit. But rather than take what the royal family expert calls “precautionary steps to get her to take it a bit easier,” Her Majesty has accelerated her pace!

“We’ve been told she needs two weeks rest, we then see her driving herself round Windsor and doing Zoom calls,” pointed out Kay. In addition, Queen Elizabeth already has headed into the flurry of holiday plans. Recently, Her Majesty visited Sandringham for the first time in months to begin preparing for Christmas.
