Queen Elizabeth’s “Best Friend” Moves Closer To Her Private Quarters Amid Mobility Issues
Queen Elizabeth is having endless girls’ nights. What do you do when you’re having age-inflicted mobility issues and can’t afford to go see your friends? Well, assuming you’re a monarch, you might want to take Queen Elizabeth’s cue and bring those friends to you!
The Queen may be 96 years old, but she still knows how to have a fun girls night, especially after her beautiful fell pony Balmoral Leia won a trophy at this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Queen Elizabeth’s “Best Friend” Angela Kelly Moves in With the Queen
Angela Kelly, 69, has been the Queen’s dresser as well as her closest aide for a long time. As one of the Queen’s most trusted aides, she moved into an apartment next to the Queen’s private quarters.
Kelly has been with the royal household for 28 years and first moved in as one of the very few staffs allowed to stay with the Queen during HMS Bubble. During that time she helped the Queen with her day-to-day care.
According to a source, Angela Kelly now stays in an apartment closer to the Queen, who battles with ongoing mobility issues. Kelly is said to have a 42 in. TV in her rooms.
This year, in honor of the Queen’s milestone Platinum Jubilee, the royal dresser released new chapters to her picture book, “The Other Side of the Coin, The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe”.
The new chapters covered how the Queen grieved her husband when he died last year and the inside details on the Duke of Edinburgh’s scaled back funeral.
The revised Platinum edition became available on May 12 via the book’s publisher HarperCollins.

According to royal insiders, Kelly received the Queen’s blessings in order to be able to share the life of the monarch behind closed doors.
