British Royal family news says that Queen Elizabeth’s well-wishers were shocked to see Prince William and Prince Harry finally come together to grieve the death of their beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. As a matter of fact, the two royal brothers were joined by their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle as they stepped outside of Windsor Castle to view flowers and speak with well-wishers following the death of the monarch. Royal journalist Chris Ship of ITV news was one of the first to share a photo of the two royal couples walking side by side as they greeted the crowds outside the gates of Windsor Castle. He even wrote, “In death, the Queen might have been able to bring William and Harry together.”

Ship later wrote, “The new Prince of Wales, William, asked his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Meghan to join him and the Princess of Wales to meet the crowds of mourners on the Long Walk tonight. Sounds like a huge olive branch.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for royal fans and critics alike to comment on the matter. Many of them wrote, “This is a wonderful sight. I think they’ve been talking all along, it’s the media that keeps saying they aren’t. I wouldn’t discuss my private family with anyone but my family so why would they. They look pretty comfortable with each other,” along with, “No matter what the media and people say these two are family we mustn’t celebrate when a family breaks apart. No one wants their family to be broken.”

British Royal News – What’s Next For The Royal Family?

Another fan wrote, “Its going to be a long week for the family and I’m sure it will be more bearable if they put on a united front. I don’t think it will last afterwards but hopefully they can feel like they were all included in the run up and the funeral.”

And then there was this comment, “Putting on a united front for the honor of the Queen. They do not want the focus of her funeral to be about family rifts. That’s it.”

It was earlier reported that King Charles had asked that Meghan Markle would not travel to Balmoral Castle with Prince Harry to see the queen before her death, as he didn’t think it would be appropriate. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
