Following the Queen’s health scares that began with a hospital stay and rounded out with a back sprain, the Monarch is telling everyone that she is doing splendidly fine.
After what felt like ages, the Queen was first pictured out in public – following her one-night hospital checkup last month – leaving All-Saints Chapel where two of her great-grandsons were christened last Sunday in a rare joint ceremony.
Queen Elizabeth Is Pushing Forward With Her Grand Family Christmas Plans At Sandringham
Hurray! The Queen is well enough to host Christmas this year for her family. There’s certainly nothing better than getting to spend time together with loved ones, especially after a rough and challenging year.
Per The Mirror, “The Queen has told everyone she is feeling far better of late and is very much looking forward to welcoming them for Christmas.
“Like many other families, this will be the first time Her Majesty can gather with her extended family after being kept apart for so long due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
Her guests this holiday season are said to include Charles and Camilla, as well as William, Kate and their three children.
Other royals to receive invites to the grand Christmas affair are Prince Edward, Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, along with their respective partners and children.

The Queen, like the rest of us, immortal as she may seem, wants to be surrounded by beloved family members, especially during this festive season. There’ll be lights, glorious feasts, pretty decorations, but the one thing the Queen may not be getting this Christmas is a quiet celebration – I’m imagining it’ll be the sole job of her great-grandkids to make sure she doesn’t.
Also, this is August Philip Brooksbank and Lucas Tindall’s first-ever Christmas, so the pair are sure to get some special attention.
