The royal family, as well as the Sussexes, have made moves to heal the rift between them so that everyone can happily move on and there wouldn’t be bad blood in the family.

Following the couple’s shocking tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Kate Middleton was the first royal spotted talking to Prince Harry when he flew back for the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip in April 2021.

The brothers also amicably talked together as they walked away from the church after the ceremony. However, their chat didn’t mend the rift. When the brothers reunited once again for their late mother’s statue unveiling at Kensington Palace Sunken Garden in July, they reportedly didn’t talk much.

Prince William And Kate Afraid To Hold Peace Talks With Harry And Meghan Because Of Their Relationship With The Media

Harry has been accused of feeding information to the media, which reportedly resulted in William being wary of holding peace talks with him.

And you wouldn’t blame William. Last year, Harry went on a talk show to disclose that his brother called him but they made no progress with their talks.

Speaking on how the Sussexes could heal the rift between them and the rest of the Royal Family, royal author Ian Lloyd said, “I just can’t see it happening, particularly with William.”

“There was all the stuff about Kate and Meghan crying at the wedding in the Oprah Winfrey interview.

“I think they shot themselves in the foot with William and Kate, I don’t think they will get anywhere near them.”

Royal expert Tina Brown said that Harry has developed the habit of blabbing “everything that’s on his mind”.

According to royal insiders, Harry’s openness with the media makes it hard for William to reach out to his brother privately and try to smoothen things out.
