Royal Family Looking To Bring On Princesses Beatrice And Eugenie To Represent The Younger Generation

The monarchy has been heavily criticized in recent times due to a shortage of royals available to attend events.

You might remember the backlash that happened when Prince William and/or Princess Kate weren’t able to fly to Australia for the final match between England and Spain.

Even though Prince William and his daughter, Princess Charlotte, wished the team the best of good lucks ahead of the match, it still did not placate the crowd accusing the royals of neglecting such an important moment in England’s women sporting history.

To ensure this backlash doesn’t happen again, the royal family are reportedly in talks to bring on Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to serve as working royals.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties to move to the US, it meant that there were two less people helping with year-round engagements.

This has put more strain on the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are juggling their royal duties alongside raising their young children.

To even things out, King Charles’ slimmed-down monarchy model may have to be thrown out, in order for two young royals to join the ranks of working members of the Royal Family.

The source told Ok!: “Emergency meetings have been held to come up with a solution to fulfil the growing number of royal engagements both here in the UK and abroad.”

“There needs to be some younger blood to reach the younger generation and the only candidates available are Beatrice and Eugenie.”

However, a source previously said that senior members of the Royal Family are afraid of making Beatrice and Eugenie privy to certain Palace details due to their close relationship with Prince Harry.

The insider told Heat Magazine: “For the King, Camilla, and the Waleses, it’s rather unfortunate that Eugenie and Beatrice are so close with the Sussexes.”

They continued: “[Beatrice and Eugenie are] still privy to a lot of what’s happening inside Buckingham Palace, so there’s a concern about what they’re telling them, and what they could reveal – even unintentionally.”
