The Public Accepted Her And Her Flaws

While there’s no doubt that Princess Diana wasn’t a perfect princess, she wasn’t someone who could easily hide her mistakes either, and yes, she certainly did make a lot of them. However, the public seemed to accept her and her flaws, unlike Meghan Markle. Perhaps it was her natural charisma or the way that she could connect with other people, but Meghan Markle simply lacks the empathy that many people gave Princess Diana during the peak of her popularity.

While Princess Diana was certainly hounded by the paparazzi and the media on a daily basis, they never disliked her or campaigned against her in the same way that they have done with Meghan Markle. Simply put, Princess Diana is and will always be an icon of her generation. There will always be a fascination surrounding who she was and who she could have been if she wasn’t tragically killed in her car accident back in 1997. There Will Never Be Another Princess Diana

Just like Marilyn Monroe, there will never be another Princess Diana. She is simply irreplaceable. As much as Meghan Markle perhaps wants to achieve the iconic status that Diana had when she was still alive, the Duchess of Sussex has a long way to go. There is only one ‘Diana,’ but quite a few Meghan’s that want what the Duchess of Sussex is still hoping to gain one day.
