Royal Family News: Beatrice Broke Down Watching Andrew Escort The Queen

Princess BeatriceBritish royal family news reveals that cameras caught out Princess Beatrice crying yesterday at her late grandfather’s Westminster Abbey memorial. Tears were shed throughout the massive enclave as mourners paid their respects to the man known as the queen’s rock for 73 years.

But were Beatrice’s tears down to something else? According to outlets, she got misty at the sight of her disgraced father, Prince Andrew, escorting her frail grandmother Queen Elizabeth to her seat.

As heartwarming as that moment might have been for Beatrice, it should be noted the same sight provoked a case of heartburn for many who questioned the front and center role of the man accused of sexual assault (he denies).

Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Was A Sight

According to the Daily Mail, “Beatrice, 33, began to tear up as she watched her father the Duke of York accompanied the monarch down the aisle at Westminster Abbey, seemingly overcome by the significance of the moment.”

“To the shock of many in the congregation, including, apparently, Beatrice, the shamed royal, 62, escorted his mother, 95, all the way down to her front-row position – in full view of the live broadcast cameras – after travelling with her from Windsor.”

Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Was The Talk Of The Cathedral

Many believed that the Dean of Westminster would escort the Queen to her seat, with Andrew trailing behind. The stark switchup is now being interpreted, “as an endorsement by Her Majesty.”

Some are conjecturing that she has given Andrew the same pass she gave the once dreaded Camilla, by stating in February that she would be queen consort. Did this overt display shout (albeit silently) that the queen wants all to forgive and forget Andrew’s offenses?

Royal Family News – Will Andrew Be Back In The Bosom Of The Monarchy?

“Shortly after laying eyes on her father and the Queen, Beatrice covered her face with the order of service. She then stood mutely while others around her sang, apparently trying to hold in tears.”

Royal expert Camilla Tominey noted, “The very personal nature of such a public commemoration hit home when Beatrice, 33, started sobbing upon sight of her grandmother and father, arm in arm, covering her tearful face with her order of service.”
