In recent news, Camila’s son claims that he wouldn’t confidently say that his mother will be allowed the title of Queen consort if and when Prince Charles ascends the throne.
Camila, Duchess Of Cornwell, Future Queen Or Not?
While Royal Family news shows Prince Charles will one day take the throne as the rightful heir with Camila, Duchess of Cornwell, by his side, she may be denied the title of queen.
According to her son, he fears that his mother could be deprived of the title when the faithful day would come for her husband to ascend the throne and change his title from prince to king. Camila, sadly, could still retain hers even after her husband becomes king.
“I honestly don’t know if Mum will be called queen,” her son Tom Parker-Bowles, revealed to The Times on Thursday. “That hasn’t been decided. There are a lot of interesting Sky documentaries about that I’m sure, but I honestly don’t know if that’s true.”
Camila’s future title has long been debated since 2005 when the couple got engaged, being sparked by a press release that was made public soon after the couple’s engagement was announced: “It is intended that Mrs. Parker Bowles should use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.”
Although nothing has been officially confirmed by Buckingham Palace, insiders believe that Prince Charles intends to make his wife Queen Consort in the days following his crowning.
Another clue that further supports the theory that the Duchess of Cornwell may get passed up for the title “Queen” is the cryptic removal of the FAQ that asks whether Camila will be called Queen from Prince Charles’ official website some years ago.
Royal Family News – Camila’s Son, Tom Parker-Bowles Speaks Out on The Crown’s Representation Of His Parents
Tom, 46, further discussed the portrayal of the relationship between his mother and Prince Charles in Season 4 of the Netflix drama series, which saw a young Camila (played by 2021 Oscar winner Emerald Fennel), and Charles (Josh O’Connor) share a passionate and complicated relationship behind the back of his new wife, Princess Diana (Emma Corrin). Tom laughed off the storyline, calling their imagination dazzling but nowhere near the truth.
At the same time, Royal Family news says Tom’s father, Andrew Parker-Bowles was also portrayed as having had a romantic liaison with Princess Anne. He also discredited his father’s image as crafted by the series calling it “complete bollocks.”
As for the Royal Family drama surrounding his stepbrother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, he simply added that families can be tough, but that he believes that “they’ll work it out in the end.” He also ended that side of the conversation by stating that it’s none of his business.
While Tom is close to the royal family, with his kids calling their grandparents, Prince Charles and Camila, cute names, he did reveal that he wasn’t present live when the late Duke of Edinburgh was laid to rest.

I don't think she should be called queen. They never called Phillip King Phillip. I certainly would never refer to her as 'queen'.
