Royal Family News: Camilla Bent Over Backward To Help Meghan Markle Who Was Not Interested

British royal family news reveals that a new book about the monarchy shows that Camilla, now the nation’s Queen Consort, tried in vain to help newbie Meghan Markle when she showed up on the radar. An excerpt of the book, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: A Royal Survivor, appeared in the Telegraph. Written by royal insider Angela Levin, it claims that Meghan, who refers to herself as the Duchess of Sussex, “was unresponsive to Queen Consort Camilla’s advice to her when she first joined The Firm.”

How so? Apparently Camilla, who was still the Duchess of Cornwall at the time, “organized lunches with Meghan and did her best to welcome her into the family.” Who doesn’t like a free lunch?

Royal Family News – Meghan Refused Camilla?

Levin claims that both Camilla and her husband–Harry’s father King Charles–were eager to help Meghan. Camilla especially wanted to help Meghan, as she had a difficult entrance into the royal family.

The book goes on to say that Camilla talked with Meghan about the pressures of being in the public eye as a member of the royal family, and the intense scrutiny she would face.

A source told Levin that Camilla did not want to see Meghan struggle and that she was fond of her.

How did Meghan react to the kindness shown her? Levin’s source said that the former basic cable actress appeared “bored” and made it clear that she wanted to, “go her own way,” instead of accepting any input.

Royal Family News – Why Did Meghan Reportedly Refused Help?

Levin acknowledged that Meghan was considered a, “hard worker,” but perhaps her insistence on going rogue is what doomed her failed princess-ness?

In one instance Meghan contributed to a recipe book in honor of survivors of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. At one lunch, Camilla Harry and Meghan to lunch at Highgrove, “and made sure the menu had been cultivated specifically from recipes in the Grenfell Tower cookbook.”

Where do Harry and Meghan stand today in relation to the royal family? One account has it that Harry recognizes the mess he and his wife have caused, and floated the idea of a, “third-party mediator to heal the rift between himself and Meghan and the rest of the family.” Camilla’s response to his lack of ownership was to that she reportedly, “spluttered over her tea.” Maybe she was thinking, there was no reason for the disaster caused by H and M in the first place?
