Royal Family News: Camilla Claps Back At “Home Wrecker” Critics, Has Last Laugh On Instagram?

British royal family news divulges that Queen Consort Camilla was granted her title upon the death of Queen Elizabeth last month. Camilla is married to the queen’s oldest son and heir, King Charles. And yet it was not a slam dunk that when he ascended the throne, she would as well. There was much speculation about what title she would receive when the time came.

Actually, the speculation was cleared up earlier this year, courtesy of the former monarch. Now some royal experts think that the Queen Consort has just reminded everyone that the queen favored her.

Camilla is Charles’ second wife, and was branded a home wrecker by his late first wife, Diana. That image stuck in the public’s mind for decades, even after the two married. Because of her unfavorable image many royal fans expected that she would not become a Queen, but instead would have a lesser title.

On the official Instagram @theroyalfamily, there is a, “new permanent slideshow from their recent Instagram story titled “The Queen Consort.” According to SheKnows, it is a basic primer on all things Camilla Parker Bowles, including her role as Queen Consort and her and King Charles III’s marriage.

It also sheds light on her fervent work done on behalf of domestic violence, spreading literacy, and animal welfare as well as her military appointments.

The last slide shows Camilla and her late MIL smiling and holding flowers. It has the queen’s words spoken on behalf of Camilla: “It is my sincere wish that, when the time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her loyal service.”

Apparently some have interpreted this as Camilla throwing subtle shade at those critics who did not want her to have her current title.

Royal Family News – Did Camilla Clap Back?

Perhaps Camilla was just stating the obvious, or honoring the woman who honored her?
