British Royal News says that Camilla Parker Bowles never ‘schemed’ to be Queen of England, but instead just wanted to support the man that she’s loved for so many years – King Charles. According to the Daily Beast, personal friends of Camilla are defending her after all of the awful things that were said about the Queen Consort in Prince Harry’s book, Spare. One person said, “All Camilla ever did was have the bad luck to fall in love with a prince. Literally the last thing she could care about is being queen. It’s absurd, and anyone who knows her knows it is absurd.”

The tipster also added that Camilla was never a royal social climber as some others would suggest. As far as Camilla wanting to be Queen of England, the issue was “at the bottom” of Camilla’s priority list, saying, “All she ever wanted was to support the man she loved.”

In Spare, the Duke of Sussex accuses Queen Camilla of leaking a conversation with Prince William. “Shortly after our private summits with her, she began to play the long game. A campaign aimed at marriage, and eventually the Crown, with Pa’s blessing we presumed,” Harry wrote.

When asked about this excerpt, Harry told Tom Bradby during their sit down interview with ITV: “Stories began to appear everywhere in all the papers about her private conversation with Willie, stories that contained pinpoint accurate details, none of which had come from Willie, of course. Harry also writes that he and his brother Prince William begged their father not to marry Camillla. He wrote, “Despite Willy and me urging him not to, Pa was going ahead. We pumped his hand, wished him well. No hard feelings. We recognized that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he’d always loved. Fate might’ve intended for him in the first place. Whatever bitterness or sorrow we felt over the closing of another loop in Mummy’s story, we understood that it was besides the point.”
