British royal family news shows that Kate Middleton was the picture of grace today after being on the receiving end of Meghan Markle’s first punch in what can only be called a spectacle of an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
It was also a spectacular success for Oprah who regained ratings she hasn’t seen in years. It was a win-win for both women, but there are many who aren’t feeling as gleeful as Oprah and Meghan the morning after the night before they shocked America.

Despite being the target of Meghan’s televised barbs not once but twice, Kate carried on in dignity with her royal duties speaking with Jasmine Harrison, 21, from Yorkshire, who is the youngest woman to row solo across an ocean.

The video of the call was released after Meghan turned the tables on Kate by saying she made her cry, and alleged to Oprah Winfrey that Kate was treated better at the palace because of the color of her skin.

Meghan started out her verbal slugfest by taking aim at Kate, her royal rival. It had been reported that these two women argued on the day of Meghan’s wedding, with the bridezilla reducing Kate to tears.

Meghan cleared that misunderstanding up by telling the world Kate was the one who made her cry; apparently Meghan has been sitting on this resentment for years.

Today Kate displayed the opposite of Meghan’s angry petulance as the mother-of-three talked to Jasmine who completed the 3,000-mile Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in 70 days, three hours and 48 minutes.

The phone conversation came on International Women’s Day, and the young woman said she hoped her achievement would shift perceptions for, “people that think that something can’t be done and it can be. I would like to change male perspectives on females.”

“It’s not about women believing they can do something because we can, we kind of know that (we can) already.”

When asked how Jasmine handled being alone for 70 days, she said, “To be in the peace of the ocean for so many days, you get to appreciate the world we live in in a way we can’t when life is busy.”

Kate then told her, “You’re inspiring loads of other women and young girls to follow in your footsteps.”
