British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan fled his family and the UK in 2020 they hid out in a house said to be owned by a Russian billionaire. How ironic given the current state of affairs.
Neither Harry nor Meghan would just come out and say who was putting them up on the insanely lavish Vancouver Island estate a move facilitated by David Foster, husband of Katherine McPhee, Meghan’s friend.
Because Harry and Meghan refused to say who they were doing business with, the media decided to find out the answer they kept hidden.
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Opaque
CBC and Radio-Canada discovered that the property involves a Russian millionaire—why didn’t Harry and Meghan tell the truth?
The outlets report that it was not easy to uncover the truth, “it took an international leak of tax-haven data, access to a company’s internal records and intense research.”
“It is very easy for criminals around the world to be laundering their dirty money in Canada and buying real estate,” said Kevin Comeau, a lawyer and financial transparency expert. “And we have no way of knowing who they are or [the] ability to chase their money. “

The Mille Fleurs mansion is North Saanich, and, “certainly shields its owner well.” Unlike most B.C. properties in B.C. it was not found, “in the provincial land registry,” as are most.
The mansion is owned by a corporation called the Towner Bay Country Club and the club’s records are not public. “But CBC/Radio-Canada was able to review an internal spreadsheet that tracks

It was only a stroke of luck that the owner was able to be ferreted out from secrecy via, “The Pandora Papers — the huge cache of leaked tax-haven records obtained by the Washington-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, and shared with CBC/Radio-Canada — shows that JEMC Management is owned by another company, registered in the Bahamas, called Orland Properties.”
“Orland, in turn, is owned by a trust called the Andromeda Trust, formed under the laws of the Bailiwick of Jersey, a tiny tax haven off the coast of France. The trustee is a company whose sole officer lives in Cyprus.”
A lot of layers of hidden information, what does that mean for Harry and Meghan?
In 2020 speculation about Russian billionaire venture capitalist Yuri Milner asserted that he was the probable owner, and now it is reported that, “half the capital for his firm’s investments in Twitter came from VTB Bank, the No. 2 bank in Russia, which is majority-owned by the state. Why is this important?

Jamison Firestone is a leading figure in the global campaign against Russian state corruption and he called VTB “a slush fund” for the Russian government. “It’s probably one of the two banks that fund most connected government officials and oligarchs,” he said.
This month CBC asked Milner if he owns the estate where Harry and Meghan were put up after Megxit. Long story short, “Milner’s trust, funded by him, bought the mansion in 2013 … Prince Harry and Meghan’s stay was arranged by David Foster.” Interesting company Harry and Meghan keep, especially in light of today’s state of affairs wouldn’t you say?
