British royal family news shows that last Tuesday it was announced that Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, agreed to an out of court settlement with Virginia Guiffre. The plaintiff had filed a civil lawsuit last August in NYC, accusing the prince of having sex with her on three occasions when she was a minor.
She, “alleged she was forced by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to have sex with the Duke on three occasions after being trafficked by the pair. Andrew has vehemently denied the accusations,” according to Express.

Some details of the settlement were not announced, namely the amount to be paid to Giuffre. That question also gave rise to speculation as to how unemployed and demoted royal Andrew would pay the undisclosed sum to Giuffre. It was reported that he would make, “a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.” According to the Telegraph Andrew will pay £12 million, with £10 million going to Ms. Giuffre and £2 million going to her sex abuse charity.
It was also written that he regrets his “association” with Epstein and will demonstrate this by, “supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.”
Royal Family News – How Will Andrew Settle His Debt?
The filing submitted to a US court on Tuesday went on to say that, “Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out of court settlement. The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms. Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).”
“Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”
“It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others. He pledges to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.”
The filing shows that Andrew did not admit to liability or wrongdoing and yet the taint associated with him somehow seemed to grow, with royal and legal pundits weighing in after the revelations.

Royal Family News – How Will Andrew’s Daughters Fare?
Will the alleged sins of the father be visited upon Andrew’s daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice? That is impossible to say, but both have been pictured out and about in recent days. Most notably, Eugenie accompanied her cousin Harry to last weekend’s Super Bowl in LA, their spouses nowhere to be seen.
