Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Hides Sorrow Behind Sunglasses Following Queen’s Death

British royal family news reveals that Kate, now the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge following the queen’s death yesterday at the age of 96, was seen wearing dark glasses as she emerged today for the first time since the death of the Queen.

Kate was spotted as the drove to pick up her three children Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Prince Louis, from their new school Lambrook near Ascot.

The family just relocated to Adelaide Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle to be closer to Her Majesty. They are also nearer her parents, Carole and James Middleton after moving from their Kensington Palace residence.

The three children are attending school together for the first time and on Tuesday their parents William and Kate brought them for their first day. Sadly, two days later the nation was in mourning for the UK’s longest serving monarch who died at Balmoral on Thursday.

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Does The School Run

Prince William is now heir to the throne with his father Prince Charles becoming King upon the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth. He is now back home from Balmoral where he gathered with family to be with the queen in Scotland upon receiving news that she was in dire health.

William will attend the Accession Council in London tomorrow, where his father Charles III will be officially proclaimed King.

Kate is now Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge having changed titles per royal protocol. Yesterday she remained home to take care of the couple’s children while William raced to be with his grandmother.

His younger brother Harry happened to be in the UK but did not manage to say goodbye to his grandmother despite her inviting him to stay with her at Balmoral. According to the Daily Mail, “Her Majesty’s death was announced while he was on approach to Aberdeen in a private jet. He spent 12 hours at Balmoral before returning to Windsor to be with Meghan.” Megan Markle chose not to accompany Harry to see the queen on her deathbed.

The outlet reported that Harry was the last to arrive and the first to leave the grounds upon which his grandmother routinely spent her summers, and took her last breath.
