Royal Family News: KFC Nicknames Prince William “His Royal Thighness” For His Love Of Chicken

Prince WilliamBritish royal family news teases that KFC has dubbed Prince William, “His Royal Thighness,” negating the need to ask if he is a breast or leg man.

In a rather cheeky display of affection, the chicken chain responded after Prince William passed by a KFC and took the opportunity to dawdle a moment, looking in the window at the delicious offerings. That led to the restaurant tweeting a photo of the hungry prince as he gazed through the window with the caption, “William whispered quietly to himself: ‘Oh, I just can’t wait to be a wing.'”

William’s moment of indiscretion came as he and wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, were out and about in London on Tuesday for a royal event. They met some of the finalists of Kate’s Hold Still photo project, a project that has gotten rave reviews.

With Kate nowhere in sight, the nattily attired William can be seen gazing longingly at one diner’s lunch, with the diner staring back utterly gobsmacked at the sight.

The fried chicken purveyor added a second tweet: “I’m sad I didn’t call him His Royal Thighness in the main tweet tbh.”

It’s no secret that Prince William appreciates a well-cooked fowl. He loves a good roast chicken which apparently is his main fare when at home. He has also shared that his favorite fast-food chain is Nando. The chain is well-known for its peri-peri chicken, in which the meat is marinated in African Bird’s Eye chili peppers.
And, chicken love runs in the royal family! As the legend goes, Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle while they were in at home preparing a roast chicken.
