Royal Family News: King Charles Wants Prince Andrew Out Of Royal Lodge Because Of Eugenie And Beatrice?

British royal family news divulges that the rumor mill has it that King Charles wants to boot his brother Prince Andrew from the family’s opulent and large Royal Lodge in order to install the Wales family of five.

It is just Andrew and Sarah Ferguson who reside at the Lodge but it’s been reported that any effort to make them leave is on hold following the latter’s recent breast cancer surgery.

But in point of fact, one royal expert thinks that the King’s reported wish to have Andrew exit the residence is part of a “wider fight” relating to his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Royal Family News: Prince Andrew’s Concerned About Royal Lodge

According to royal author Andrew Lownie, the Duke of York has no need for Windsor Castle, with 30 rooms situated on nearly 100 acres.

Lownie said “Andrew has a lease with the Crown Estates in return for paying for renovation and upkeep and he has honoured that.” It’s also been reported that Andrew fears that if he leaves the home he “might never get back in.”

Lownie adds that Andrew may have a bit of entitlement at play as well “as he reminds everyone constantly he was the second son of the monarch – and he feels he is entitled to stay.”

The royal author adds that the tussle over the Lodge has something to do with Andrew’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie: “This is also part of a wider fight with his brother, which goes back to having security removed from his daughters, not gracing the balcony.”

In 2011 a report indicated that Eugenie taxpayers paid her six-figure security bill for a trip to India, Thailand, South Africa, and the United States.

Royal author Angela Levin stated that King Charles “suggested security wasn’t a necessity as Beatrice and Eugenie weren’t on their way to becoming working royals … that this was too much for the public to pay, so he stopped that.”

Andrew reportedly wrote an angry missive to Queen Elizabeth about the matter but lost. He “wanted them to be considered as proper royals. He did not want the protection officers to leave them.”
