British royal family news reveals that despite rumors Queen Elizabeth will step down from the throne when she turns 95 in 2021 there are lavish plans to celebrate her milestone reign with tons of pomp and circumstance in 2022.

Britain is in a second historic coronavirus lockdown but the country will be treated to a “blockbuster weekend of celebrations” when the queen celebrates her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Some think that Buckingham Palace has issued a statement about the 2022 celebration with the aim of shutting down talk of the queen stepping down next year.

The four-day celebratory occasion will feature a broad mix of events that include traditional British ceremony and pageantry with modern-day artistic and technological shows. “This historic event will reflect on Her Majesty’s reign, and her impact on the UK and the world since 1952.” No doubt the nation will wait with anticipation for the four day weekend as 2022 dawns.

An inside source reveals that Her Majesty is fully on board with the lavish celebrations and likely will have a scaled-down 95th birthday event because she is, “saving the celebrations for her Platinum.”
