British royal family news teases that Queen Elizabeth has extended an invitation to her wayward relatives Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, asking them to attend her upcoming 95th birthday celebrations. How will the couple respond? If they do show up it could be the first royal family reunion since Megxit.

According to a source, she is wanting to return to a more normal schedule after the 2020 pandemic disrupted everything around the world. That may or may not happen soon as COVID continues to dominate daily life.

In the meantime she has reportedly invited Harry and Meghan to join the famous Trooping the Colour in London on June 12 according to The Sunday Times.

Royal aides told the outlet that the event is both an official event as well as a “family occasion” and that the US based pair are expected to comply with the queen’s invitation.

Trooping the Colour is typically held in public to celebrate the queen’s birthday. In the past Meghan joined the family, including Kate Middleton, to spectate from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

If Harry attends, it might mean he is around for his grandad, the Duke of Edinburgh‘s, 100th birthday as well.
The military parade will also recognize the army, who are helping roll out the COVID-19 vaccine.

Show up, don't show, it doesn't matter. If they can't be bothered to show up there is always email or text, followed by a recorded delivery letter telling them "You're Fired". No tea and sandwiches required.
