Meghan Markle And Prince Harry British Royal family news reveals the star-studded show, VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World, organized as a means to promote COVID-19 vaccination and increase its worldwide availability will also see First Lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in attendance. Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and others are set to perform at the show.

The Concert’s Global Cause

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Prince Harry and Meghan, Selena Gomez, and more will unite to bring forward a safer and coronavirus-free world. VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World will take place on Saturday, May 8 with an aim to “inspire vaccine confidence worldwide and help get the COVID-19 vaccines to everyone, everywhere,” a previous statement released by Global Citizen reads.

The concert and Global Citizen’s involvement is part of a partnership with White House “We Can Do This” to increase the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in the population while reinforcing the need for basic prevention measures like wearing a mask and social distancing.

The concert will be a global broadcast and streaming special that will tackle vaccine hesitancy, enable the distribution of the vaccine to many places around the world, and celebrate a future where families and communities reunite after receiving the vaccine.

Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Gayle King, Jimmy Kimmel, Nomzamo Mbatha, Sean Penn, and Olivia Munn will make an appearance at the concert.

Other heads of state will also be joining the concert to encourage their citizens and everyone around the world to be open about getting their COVID-19 vaccine. President Macron of France, Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada, and Prime Minister Plenković of Croatia will also be making appearances.

Prince Harry And Meghan’s Contributions To The Concert

Harry and Meghan will be serving as Campaign Chairs for the global event and will be delivering a message for vaccine equity, helping ensure impartial access to the vaccine during the event. The couple has previously been leading a coordinated drive using private sectors to raise funds for the vaccine-sharing program COVAX.

Concert Details

The broadcast will air on Saturday, May 8, starting at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABS, CBS, YouTube, and iHeart broadcast radio stations and the iHeartRadio app, and at 11 p.m. ET/10 p.m. CT on FOX.

YouTube will also stream an extended version of VAX LIVE on Global Citizen’s channel. The extended broadcast will include additional performances and appearances by NCT 127 alongside YouTube creators Daniel El Travieso, Kati Morton, ShootforLove, Thembe Mahlaba, and The Try Guys.

Selena Gomez will host the concert and she feels deeply honored to be a part of the VAX LIVE: the Concert to Reunite the World.

“This is a historic moment to encourage people around the world to take the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available to them, call on world leaders to share vaccine doses equitably, and to bring people together for a night of music in a way that hasn’t felt possible in the past year. I can’t wait to be a part of it,” the singer and actress shared.

      Pity their concern for people's health didn't stretch to consider Harry's dying grandfather! Clearly a nasty media interview was far more important. Which has me thinking what's really important to them here, the health of strangers or another opportunity to get some of that celebrity and media attention? So much for them wanting a private life. After what they said during that interview with his grandfather critically ill, they are never now going to be able to convince me they genuinely care about anyone but themselves. They have tried upstaging the Queen, now it's the President and Vice Presidents turn. They should just leave these important issues to the intelligent professionals. You know they will try and make this all about them whilst pretending to care and be charitable.

      The only TV show That Woman could possibly qualify for is a Sit-com playing Betty White and Angela Landsbury's Mother in a "FRIENDS and GOLDEN GIRLS" type of plot line.
