British royal family news reveals that King Charles has been through a lot with his son Prince Harry and DIL Meghan Markle. Before the royal runaways took to trashing his clan, it was said that Charles quite liked his daughter-in-law, and even had a special nickname for her—Tungsten.

But that was before the horrible year 2020, in which the pair absconded from the kingdom and aired dirty linen far and wide on distant shores. One royal expert suggests that Charles was “very fond of” the former cable actress, so let’s unpack what is going on these days.

Harry and Meghan ditched the monarchy but still insist on being referred to as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They are now living in California and they have spared no effort in informing all who will listen just how rotten their time in the castle was.

More recently, Meghan ranted to Variety and on a podcast about, among other things, how she was treated like a bimbo during a paid work experience. She also said that the Queen’s death in September has been “complicated.”

Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly, “I think — as far as the Charles is concerned, specifically — you know, he feels betrayed.” Before Meghan began bad mouthing her in-laws, King Charles graciously agreed to walked her down the aisle at her wedding to Harry. Meghan’s father could not fly as he just suffered a heart attack and even after suffering a stroke recently, she has failed to reach out to him.

Andersen added, “I mean, he really was very fond of her. And I think he’s somewhat bewildered.”

Royal Family News – Meghan Treated Well By FIL King Charles?

He thinks that the late Queen Elizabeth was better able to handle the slights and insults, but that Charles is not prepared for such shabby treatment.

“I don’t think it threw her as much as it has thrown at Charles, and understandably so, because this is his son and the daughter-in-law who … have said some pretty hurtful things,” said the expert.
