Royal Family News: Meghan Markle “Determined” To Keep Royal Title, None Of The Work?

British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle is accused of having a change of heart after crowing to A-list pal Oprah Winfrey (where HAS she been lately?) that she doesn’t care one iota aout royal titles. Clearly that’s not true as she’s clung to her husband’s title like a child to a Styrofoam pool noodle.

The woman who once croaked she doesn’t care about fancy schmancy titles, now does, according to royal watcher Neil Sean. He told The Daily Express, that Markle is hellbent on keeping her Duchess of Sussex title AND making sure that her kids Archie and Lilibet have English titles as well. What’s changed? InStyle claims that Sean,

“notes that Meghan has maintained a close relationship with cousins-in-law, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and sees how they are benefitting from their positions.” It’s all about the bennies apparently. To heck with honor and tradition, it’s whatever brings in the bucks?

Sean explains: “Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to cling onto those royal titles. After much deliberation, Meghan decided that the titles would be a good thing, not just for her, but for both her children, too.” “Meghan became very friendly with … Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. After this, Meghan realized how useful a title can be, particularly when you want to move in the correct circles. That is the reason why they want to clutch hold of titles.”

This is far cry from the 2021 interview in which Megs From the Block told Oprah, “all the grandeur surrounding this stuff is an attachment I don’t personally have. I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a duchess — I’ve always still just been Meghan, right? I’ve been clear on who I am, independent of all that stuff, and the most important title I’ll ever have is mom. I know that.” As the world has noticed, and Sean notes, Prince Harry and Meghan demand that they be introduced as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Hypocrites, much?

But the keeping of titles has been complicated by their rude, recalcitrant behavior. Royal expert Tom Bower told OK that King Charles has made it clear to the Hollywood Hoboes that trashing the fam and keeping their titles is not going to happen.

He said: “I do not think their children will get titles if they go ahead and slander the royal family. But they have also got to consider their own titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, could be taken away by Charles if they misbehave.”
Is Charles making a list, checking it twice, he’s gonna find out who’s naughty and nice …?
